We've more than reached our capacity at our location in Glen Allen, where the shop has been located since it was founded in 1976. Because of this there was a strong need to seek out larger accommodations. We are pleased to announce that we have acquired a much larger building located in Sandston, VA near the airport. It is the former USPS sorting facility. With the greater space comes even more opportunities for growth. We want to thank our employees and most especially our customers for making this move possible!

Kosmo Machine, Inc. is a full service precision machine shop located in central Virginia, just north of the Richmond area. We specialize in CNC milling and turning, and EDM machining (including wire and sinker), as well as quality assurance featuring CMM inspection, including full scanning ability.

Our EDM capabilities include small-hole EDMing, and a multitude of complex shapes and designs on both our Wire and Sinker EDM Machines allowing us to offer a wide variety of EDM services. We are also able to do curved hole machining in our EDM Department.

Our milling capabilities include 3 axis, 4 axis, & 5 axis work. We are also able to do part duplication using our scanning CMM and our 3D solids modeling design department.

Our production department functions with ease by using the Vantage production software. With a quality system registered to the ISO 9001:2008 standard, you can rest assured that your order will be handled with the utmost care and professionalism from the time it is placed to the time that finished parts arrive at your door.
